Major General To Thanh Quyet, Deputy Commander of Military Region 3, delivered the opening speech at the sports festival.

The sports festival was attended by more than 150 comrades from 3 units: Division 395, Brigade 513 and Workshop 10 (General Staff of Military Region 3).

The units participated in 9 events. Of which, Brigade 513 participated in 5 events: Bomb, mine, explosive clearance; mobility assurance; river crossing assurance; search and rescue; politics. Division 395 participated in 2 events: Obstacle engineering, command post engineering. Workshop 10 participated in 2 events: Mobile repair, construction of combat works.

Major General To Thanh Quyet, Deputy Commander of Military Region 3, and delegates visited officers and soldiers of Brigade 513 conducting bomb, mine, and explosive clearance.

According to the evaluation of the Organizing Committee, the officers and soldiers participating in the sports festival showed a calm, confident, highly determined spirit, proficient in techniques and tactics in each content and competition, and a firm grasp of political awareness content. Officers in command roles had a scientific , decisive, and mission-oriented management style, with loud and clear commands. The members of the competition team coordinated smoothly and closely with the departments. The team of drivers, machines, and specialized vehicles were proficient and operated to ensure absolute safety. The officers and soldiers of the engineering units performed their operations skillfully and urgently, deployed and installed equipment and devices in the correct order and principles, ensuring technical requirements. Each team entered the competition with quick, accurate, timely, and timely operations, creating impressive performances. Many teams completed the competition content faster than the time specified in the sports festival regulations.

As a result, the River Crossing Support Team of Brigade 513 won first prize, the Command Engineering Team of Division 395 won second prize and the Mobile Repair Team of Workshop 10 won third prize.

Speaking at the sports festival, Major General To Thanh Quyet praised the Organizing Committee, the Jury and the participating units for their careful and serious preparation. Each officer and soldier always strived and was determined to complete the sports festival with the highest results. The Deputy Commander of Military Region 3 requested that after the Military Region Engineering Sports Festival ended, the units need to promptly draw lessons and continue to focus on training to improve their technical and tactical skills, close to reality, ensuring comprehensiveness and effectiveness; specialized agencies need to continue to advise, propose and direct the thorough overcoming of shortcomings in the organization of training methods, creating high unity in training organization, creating a premise for the Military Region 3 engineering force to participate in the Army-wide Engineering Sports Festival in 2026.

Closing the sports festival, the Military Region 3 Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 winning teams and 2 units that did a good job serving the Sports Festival.
