Implementing well the policy of supporting ethnic minority students

The survey delegation of the Ethnic Council of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council worked at Dinh Hoa Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities .

According to reports from units, in recent times, policies and regimes for students such as scholarships, tuition exemptions, food allowances, transportation, etc. have been implemented promptly and to the right target; facilities have been gradually invested, basically meeting the needs of teaching, learning and boarding activities. Students have the opportunity to participate in many educational and experiential activities.

However, schools still face many difficulties, such as: Service staff are mainly contract workers, living standards are still low; some facilities are degraded, lack of teaching equipment...

The working delegation of the Provincial People's Council's Ethnic Minorities Committee acknowledged and commended the efforts of the staff, teachers, employees and students of the two schools in implementing the policy and ensuring a comprehensive educational environment. At the same time, they requested the schools to continue to complete the report, clearly analyzing the results and limitations.

On that basis, the Committee will synthesize, report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and recommend that all levels and sectors pay attention to allocating resources to invest in facilities, supplementing the missing staff and researching specific support regimes for service staff...
