On June 11, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Le Kim Nghia - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City - said that through initial verification, the authorities determined that the number of medicine blisters dumped on the vacant lot on Xuan Thieu 21 Street belonged to Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 3.

According to Mr. Nghia, after receiving feedback from the people, the authorities inspected and verified that this batch of medicine belonged to Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 3 (headquartered in Hai Chau district, Da Nang).

Mr. Nghia said that according to initial information, this amount of medicine was subject to destruction by Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 3.

However, during the destruction process, scrap dealers were allowed to pick up the scrap, but because they could not sell it, they brought it to Xuan Thieu 21 street to dump.

"After working, the company determined that these were the drugs to be destroyed. The police worked with the company and this unit collected all of the above drugs to destroy them according to regulations.

Currently, we are verifying the information of the scrap trader involved to clarify the incident according to the information provided by Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 3," said Mr. Nghia.

Speaking to reporters, a staff member of Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 3 confirmed that they had worked with authorities regarding the number of medicine blisters that were dumped on Xuan Thieu 21 Street.

"We are currently working with the authorities and cannot respond further at this time," this person said.

Previously, as Tuoi Tre Online reported, on June 10, people discovered a pile of illegally dumped garbage on a vacant lot on Xuan Thieu 21 Street containing many blister packs of pills, so they reported it to the authorities for inspection.

When the urban planning team came to inspect, they found hundreds of dark brown bottles with no labels and dented. Many were still wrapped in bags, thrown away among the rubble and household waste.

In addition, there were many plastic bags containing many intact, unused blister packs. The blister packs clearly printed the name "Cetecocenzitax 25mg" with an expiration date of August 2026.
