On the afternoon of February 21, the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command held a conference to hand over the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command.

According to the decision of the Ministry of National Defense , Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Khanh, Deputy Chief of Staff of Hai Duong Provincial Military Command, was appointed to the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command from February 13, 2025, replacing Colonel Nguyen Trong Hung who is awaiting retirement according to the regime.

At the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Khanh and Colonel Nguyen Trong Hung signed the minutes of handover of responsibilities and tasks of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff, organization, equipment, financial work, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Commander of the Provincial Military Command Vu Hong Anh acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions and dedication of Colonel Nguyen Trong Hung to the provincial armed forces in the past time; at the same time, he hoped that after retirement, he would continue to promote the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, make many contributions to the locality; and regularly pay attention to the development of the provincial armed forces.

Colonel Vu Hong Anh hopes that in his new position, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Khanh will continue to promote his role, responsibility, leadership and direction, build solidarity and unity, and work with the Provincial Military Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command to do a good job of advising the province in carrying out local defense and military work, and building a clean and strong Provincial Military Party Committee.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Khanh was born in 1978, from Chi Minh commune (Tu Ky), graduated from the Army Academy, with a senior degree in political theory. He used to hold the position of Commander of the Gia Loc District Military Command, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command.
