Standing Committee of City Party Committee meets, listens to reports, gives opinions on some projects in the new urban area North of Cam River

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of June 9, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee met to listen to reports and give opinions on a number of contents, including the investment policy for the project to build a conference center at Lot I.11/DVCC-01 in the new urban area of Bac Song Cam; the investment policy for the project to build a mixed-use building at Lot I.20/CTHH-01 and the project to build a mixed-use high-rise building and commercial services at Lot 1.14/CTHH-01 in the new urban area of Bac Song Cam.

Comrade Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation chaired the meeting. Also attending were comrades: Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Do Manh Hien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Tho, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee and representatives of leaders of relevant departments, sectors and localities.

At the meeting, the representative of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee briefly reported on the investment policy of the projects located in the North Cam River New Urban Area, in Duong Quan Ward (Thuy Nguyen City). In particular, the investment project to build a Conference Center at Lot I.11/DVCC-01 is built on an area of over 6,500 m2 with a scale of 500 - 1,200 guests, with a total estimated investment capital of over 1,000 billion VND, excluding compensation and site clearance costs. For the mixed-use construction investment project at Lot I.20/CTHH-01, there are 3 mixed-use high-rise buildings on an area of over 22,000 m2, with a total investment of over VND 8,300 billion and the mixed-use high-rise and commercial service construction investment project at Lot 1.14/CTHH-01 with a total planned land area of nearly 32,500 m2, with a total investment of nearly VND 4,900 billion.

Comrade Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau spoke at the meeting.

After listening to the reports and opinions of the delegates, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau emphasized that the projects must be consistent with the National Master Plan, the Red River Delta Master Plan, the Hai Phong City Master Plan and specialized master plans such as land, construction, urban architecture, etc., while meeting standards and regulations as well as ensuring national defense and security. The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee agreed on the investment policy for the above projects, contributing to the construction of a modern and civilized North Cam River Urban Area.

The Secretary of the City Party Committee assigned the City Party Committee to direct relevant agencies to continue implementing procedures according to regulations./.
