Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh offers incense and pays tribute to heroic martyrs in Quang Tri province

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 21, a working delegation of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense led by Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, came to offer flowers and incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs in Quang Tri province. Joining the delegation were Colonel Ngo Nam Cuong, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; Colonel Dinh Xuan Huong, Deputy Director of Politics of Military Region 4; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien; Colonel Le Hong Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.

At the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Road 9 and the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel National Special Relic Site, the Flower Wharf on the southern bank of the Thach Han River, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere before the souls of the heroic martyrs, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh and the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense in memory, expressing their respect and infinite gratitude, deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who devoted their youth, bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the country.

The sacrifices of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their blood and bones without regret have created heroic and indomitable feats that have adorned the red flag with a yellow star of the Fatherland, are the pride of the Vietnamese people, are shining examples for the revolutionary ideal, for the peace and happiness of the people, worthy for the generations of today and tomorrow to learn from and devote themselves to building the homeland and country to become more and more prosperous.
