Accordingly, VPF Company - the Organizing Committee of the V. League National Championship has issued a new announcement about the number of goals scored by player Nguyen Tien Linh in this year's season. Specifically, instead of 14 goals as initially reported, Tien Linh will only have 13 valid goals.

According to VPF's explanation, player Nguyen Tien Linh was only recognized for 13 goals. 1 goal less than the previous statistics because the goal in the 90+3 minute of the match between Becamex Binh Duong Club and Hai Phong Club (round 25 V. League 1-2024-2025) was counted as an own goal from the clearance of defender Bui Tien Dung (number 16, Hai Phong Club)".

With this result, Tien Linh will no longer be the top scorer of the season as previously reported. Specifically, this title will belong to two foreign players, Alan (Hanoi Police) and Lucao (just transferred from Hai Phong to The Cong Viettel ). Nguyen Tien Linh will still be the domestic top scorer with 13 goals.
