Lai Chau is a mountainous, border province located in the Northwest region of the country, with rugged terrain, fragmented traffic, harsh weather, high poverty rate, and difficult people's lives. In particular, since mid-2024, immediately after the Prime Minister issued urgent decisions and instructions to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide, Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee issued a Decision to establish a Provincial Steering Committee, clearly assigning responsibilities to each comrade in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
