Tien Phuoc rewards many collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement

Last year, the patriotic emulation movement in Tien Phuoc district received attention and direction from agencies, departments and localities, creating a clear change in awareness and implementation.

In 2023, the district will have 3 more communes: Tien Lap, Tien Ngoc, Tien Lanh reaching the new rural finish line, completing 100% of communes meeting new rural standards (14/14 communes); striving to reach the new rural district standards in 2024.

Implementing the OCOP program, the locality has 5 products/5 newly registered entities, 1 upgraded product and 13 products/10 entities re-registered for recognition.

The movement “The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind” has been effectively implemented. The district supported the construction of storm shelters/shelters according to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee with a budget of 830 million VND; implemented a poverty reduction model project, supported the development of value chain-linked production for 376 poor, near-poor, newly escaped-poverty households, and disadvantaged households with a total budget of more than 21 billion VND.

By the end of 2023, the district still had 651 poor households (accounting for 3.43%). More than 91% of villages were recognized as cultural villages and more than 95% of households were recognized as cultural families.

Regarding the special emulation movement to welcome the 18th District Party Congress (term 2025 - 2030), up to now, there have been 101 projects registered by agencies, departments and localities.

In 2023, Tien Phuoc had 1 collective and 1 individual receiving a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister . The Provincial People's Committee awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag to 8 collectives; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the title of "Excellent Labor Collective" to 39 collectives, "Provincial Emulation Fighter" to 5 individuals, and awarded Certificates of Merit to 11 collectives and 12 individuals.

At the conference, the leaders of Tien Phuoc district awarded the Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee to 5 collectives; awarded the title of "Excellent Labor Collective" of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 22 collectives and the title of "Emulation Fighter" at the provincial level to 5 individuals; awarded Certificates of Merit of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 8 collectives and 7 individuals... with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement in 2023.
