On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Tien Yen Liberation Day, many emulation movements and practical tasks have been actively carried out by the Party Committee, army and people of all ethnic groups in Tien Yen district, creating a vibrant and widespread political movement.
Towards the Liberation Day of Tien Yen, Tien Lang commune has implemented the project "Corrugated iron roof of Dong Chau village cultural house". Accordingly, the corrugated iron roof of Dong Chau village cultural house was started at the end of March 2024 and completed in April 2024 with an area of 156m2 . The total cost of construction of the project is nearly 70 million VND, from socialized sources. Since being put into use, the project has effectively served the cultural, artistic, sports and meeting activities of Dong Chau village people. Ms. Dang Thi Tuoi, Head of the Dong Chau village Front Work Committee, said: Since May 2023, the village has established the Hoa Sen Cultural, Artistic, Sports and Physical Education Club with 32 members, of many ages, including children from 8-10 years old. Since having the new roof, our club's activities have become much more convenient. Rain or shine, everyone can practice at any time.
To celebrate the anniversary of Tien Yen Liberation Day, the whole district has 22 collective models and 5 individual models registered to compete and carry out practical tasks and activities. The outstanding collective models include: Model of mobilizing people to clear land to expand and upgrade the main road of Truong Tien - Doi May village (Hai Lang commune); model of planting large timber forests (Yen Than commune); model of mobilizing people to clear land to expand and upgrade roads in the commune (Dong Rui commune); model of building a garbage collection point in Hoi Pho village (Youth Union of Dong Hai commune)...
For individuals, typical examples are: Ms. Trieu Thi Thu, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Council, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Yen Than commune with the model of mobilizing women's union members to participate in the Club for Preserving the Cultural Identity of the Dao ethnic group; teacher Tran Thi Hau, Vice Principal of Tien Yen Town Primary School with the model of operating and managing the "Mobile Book Cart" at Tien Yen walking street...
It is known that, from the beginning of this year, Tien Yen district has launched a special emulation movement to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Tien Yen Liberation Day on August 8 (1954-2024). Each agency and unit also selected and implemented the construction of at least 1 typical model or 1 practical political, economic , cultural and social project of the district to organize the installation of a sign to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Tien Yen Liberation Day to create a vibrant and widespread emulation atmosphere. On the other hand, it is necessary to strengthen the discovery, training, replication and commendation of advanced models and new factors in the emulation movement, pushing back negativity, corruption and waste.
The emulation movements are proposed to ensure practicality and effectiveness in the direction of focusing on the grassroots, closely following the core tasks, with specific criteria; not chasing after achievements and formalities. Responding to the district's call, everywhere strives to compete for good labor, creative labor, improve productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness of products and enterprises associated with innovating the green growth model, creating a new environment and driving force for development. From there, promote the pioneering role and creative capacity of workers, civil servants and laborers in implementing the socio-economic development tasks of the district.

Towards the Tien Yen Liberation Day, the district also built a specific and detailed plan to effectively organize practical activities, typically: Rally to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Tien Yen Liberation Day associated with the ceremony to receive the Third Class Independence Medal; production and publication of a collection of literary and artistic works of Tien Yen district, composing songs about Tien Yen; exhibition of paintings and art photos about the land and people of Tien Yen; contest to learn about "Tien Yen 70 years of construction and development". Along with that, Tien Yen also actively organized cultural, artistic, physical education, sports and tourism activities; youth camp - OCOP Fair - Colorful folk dance festival; activities to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the establishment of Tien Yen walking street...
It can be seen that the emulation movements, tasks, and models that have been actively and creatively implemented have continued to strongly promote the glorious tradition, enhance the spirit of dynamism and creativity, continue to innovate thinking, ways of thinking, and ways of doing things to make Tien Yen district increasingly develop strongly and comprehensively.
