The “Contribute Leaves to Repair Forests” campaign is a key activity within the framework of the “Green Forest” Program initiated by the PanNature Center for People and Nature, with the goal of restoring 500 hectares of natural forest within 10 years, creating a green corridor connecting the two regions of Mai Chau in Hoa Binh province (old) and Van Ho in Son La province. In 2024, the campaign achieved positive results with 35,000 trees planted, restoring 53 hectares of forest in the Hang Kia – Pa Co area of Hoa Binh province (old) and Van Ho in Son La province.
In this campaign, more than 60,000 native trees, including: Doi, Tram, Cho Chi, Gu Huong, Cinnamon, Chestnut... will be planted on an area of nearly 100 hectares in the protective forest area of 5 villages: Sa Lai, Na Hieng, Chieng Nua, Xuan Nha commune and Pha Luong, Suoi Quanh villages of Chieng Son commune.
The campaign not only brings environmental value, restores natural forests, and conserves biodiversity, but also contributes to promoting sustainable livelihoods for indigenous communities, building a green future, and harmony between humans and nature.
