Continuing to discipline the principal accused of molesting and harassing many teachers

(Dan Tri) - The People's Committee of An Phu district (An Giang province) has disciplined the Principal of A Quoc Thai Primary School with a warning after he was accused of molesting and harassing many teachers at the school.

On the afternoon of May 19, Mr. Trang Cong Cuong, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Phu district ( An Giang province) said that the locality had just issued a disciplinary warning to Mr. VTD, Principal of A Quoc Thai Primary School.

This is the next move of the People's Committee of An Phu district after Mr. D. was disciplined with a Party warning by the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

Previously, the Inspection Committee of An Phu District Party Committee determined that Mr. D. had sent sexually harassing messages to many female teachers working at the school, most of whom were married.

As Dan Tri reported, Mr. VTD, Principal of A Quoc Thai Primary School, was accused by Ms. P. (35 years old, a teacher at the school) of molesting and sending harassing messages from July 2023 to April 2024.

According to this female teacher, when she entered the school to clean the classroom, Mr. D. invited her to his office for breakfast. There, the principal sexually harassed her, touched her "sensitive" area, and threatened her when she reacted.

The Inspection Committee of An Phu District Party Committee determined that, in his role as Party cell secretary and school principal, during the management and operation process, Mr. D. violated work procedures and regulations and performed assigned duties and responsibilities.

In addition, he also violated the principle of democratic centralism, leading to disunity in the unit; violated financial principles in implementing revenue sources and socialized sources; violated regulations on ethics, civilized lifestyle; responsibility to set an example and things that Party members are not allowed to do.

During the process of mobilizing funding and implementing the collection, Mr. D. gave incorrect instructions, was not transparent, and did not use funding sources according to regulations.

Based on the above, the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee decided to discipline Mr. D. with a warning.
