Continuing to increase, SJC gold bar price jumped to 134.4 million VND per tael

(DN) - The price of SJC gold in the morning session of September 5 increased to 134.4 million VND/tael, a sharp increase of 500,000 VND, while maintaining a very high difference with the world.

This morning (September 5), the price of SJC gold and domestic gold rings continued to increase sharply by 500,000 VND per tael, reaching the highest level ever.

At 9:20 a.m., SJC gold price at Saigon Jewelry Company and Doji Company was listed at 132.9-134.4 million VND/tael (buy/sell), while at Phu Quy Company it was announced at 131.9-133.4 million VND/tael.

Thus, the price of SJC gold at domestic enterprises increased by 500,000 VND/tael this morning.

Also following the above developments, the price of gold rings at Phu Quy Company was announced to be from 126.5-129.5 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 400,000 VND/tael, while at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the business announced to be from 126.8-129.8 million VND/tael, an increase of 300,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.

This morning, the difference in buying/selling prices is still maintained at a high level by businesses, in which SJC gold is about 1.5 million VND/tael, and ring gold is 3 million VND/tael.

Compared to the first session of the week (September 3), domestic gold price has increased by about 3.8 million VND/tael.

In the world, the precious metal fluctuated around 3,553 USD/ounce, down 10 USD/ounce compared to the previous session's close. This price is equivalent to 113.5 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank , lower than the domestic gold price by more than 20 million VND/tael. This is also the highest difference ever.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 25,248 VND/USD, unchanged from the previous session. Therefore, the exchange rate at joint stock commercial banks also remained unchanged.

Accordingly, with a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank announced the USD exchange rate from 26,160-26,510 VND/USD.

BIDV Bank traded from 26,190-26,510 VND/USD (buy/sell); VietinBank listed from 26,212-26,510 VND/USD (buy/sell); Eximbank traded from 26,160-26,510 VND/USD (buy/sell).
