That is one of the important orientations in the coming time emphasized at the Conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, organized by the Nghe An Provincial Military Party Committee on the afternoon of May 6.

Attending the conference were comrades: Major General Phan Van Sy - Deputy Chief of Political Department of Military Region 4; Tran Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee.

Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong - Deputy Secretary of the Military Party Committee of Nghe An province, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command chaired the conference.

Over the past 10 years, officers and soldiers of Nghe An armed forces have implemented the Study and Follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle with high will, determination, proactive and creative spirit and achieved many good results.

Specifically, the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command have implemented Directive 05 in conjunction with the implementation of the unit's political tasks. Thanks to that, the quality of training, qualifications, and combat readiness have been improved, with annual training results reaching over 89% good and excellent.

The Provincial Party Committee and Military Command have advised and organized 2 regional defense drills, 1 civil defense drill, participated in the SAREX aviation rescue drill (2015); directed the organization of 36 district-level defense drills, 5 flood and storm prevention drills, search and rescue; 5 drills according to Decree 30, 130 of the Government; 14 island defense drills; 966 commune-level combat drills... ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.

The Provincial Party Committee and Military Command directed and implemented Directive No. 05 in conjunction with campaigns and emulation movements, achieving many outstanding results and achievements such as: Movement "Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces join hands to build new rural areas"; "Joining hands for the poor - leaving no one behind"... From the implementation practice, many good models and creative and effective ways of doing things have emerged.

With their achievements, 39 collectives and individuals of the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command were awarded by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region, and the Provincial Party Committee. In particular, in 2024, the Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces were awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces for the second time by the President.

At the conference, delegates discussed and focused on evaluating the achieved results, sharing experiences, good models, effective methods; advantages, difficulties and directions and solutions to continue promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the coming time.

Accordingly, in the coming time, the Provincial Military Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command will continue to focus on improving leadership capacity, fighting strength, building Party committees and Party cells that are strong in politics, ideology, organization, and ethics; promoting the exemplary role of cadres and Party members; regularly innovating the content, methods, and forms of learning and propaganda to create strong changes in awareness and action; building and replicating advanced models; building Party organizations that excellently complete their tasks, and agencies and units that are comprehensively strong "Exemplary and typical".

On this occasion, the Provincial Military Party Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in 5 years of implementing the emulation movement of women in the armed forces of Nghe An province, period 2020-2025./.
