TYM Hung Nguyen branch gives support to build houses for the poor

On the morning of June 25, the TYM Hung Nguyen branch organized a ceremony to hand over support and inaugurate a new house for Ms. Dinh Thi Loan, an elderly person with no one to rely on, in Hamlet 5, Nam Linh Commune, Nam Dan District.

Ms. Dinh Thi Loan is in a particularly difficult situation. This year, she turned 67, lives alone, has poor health, faces economic hardship, is classified as a poor household, and currently receives a monthly social welfare allowance.

For a long time, Mrs. Loan has lived alone in a small, single-story house built over 30 years ago with the help of her parents, siblings, and relatives. Now dilapidated, it has become a constant worry for her whenever it rains or storms come.

Understanding Ms. Loan's difficult circumstances, and in response to the program to mobilize support for building and repairing houses for the poor and those with housing difficulties in the province, as per Directive No. 21, dated February 10, 2023, of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; the TYM Hung Nguyen branch has provided Ms. Dinh Thi Loan with 60 million VND to build a new house.

With support from TYM's Hung Nguyen branch, local political organizations, and assistance from relatives and neighbors, Ms. Loan was able to build a new house, worth approximately 160 million VND.

TYM's Hung Nguyen branch pays close attention to social work through many practical activities. These include supporting TYM customers in accessing and applying digital technology in their lives; organizing gift-giving events for disadvantaged customer families during the Lunar New Year; and assisting poor households in building houses, etc.
