All students who escaped from Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2 were found.

On the afternoon of October 8, An Giang Provincial Police said they had mobilized and searched for all 314/314 students who escaped from Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2, Kien Hao Hamlet, My Thuan Commune (An Giang Province).

Previously, on October 5, 2025, a number of students escaped from Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2, Kien Hao Hamlet, My Thuan Commune (An Giang Province). The Provincial Police Director directed the mobilization of maximum forces, closely coordinated with units and localities to synchronously deploy professional measures, organize searches and mobilize students to return to the facility.

With the high determination of the entire force, by 9:30 a.m. on October 8, 2025, the Provincial Police had mobilized and fully searched for 14/314 students who escaped from Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2.

Through taking statements from the students found, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency detained 14 subjects (9 subjects for disturbing public order, 5 subjects for resisting law enforcement officers).

Currently, the Provincial Police are focusing on directing the Investigation Police Agency to urgently collect and consolidate documents and evidence to promptly handle subjects with law violations; and strengthen forces to ensure security and safety at drug rehabilitation facilities.
