On February 22, Hanoi City Police said that the family had found a 14-year-old girl who had been missing since the 6th day of Tet after taking a bus from Ha Nam to Hanoi.
According to family information, the girl is staying with a friend she met through social media in a rented room in Thanh Tri district (Hanoi).
"The authorities found T. on the night of February 21. He has now returned home and is in stable condition. I will wait until his health is stable before asking him in detail about why he left home," T.'s mother added.
NTQT was found by his family.
Previously, Hanoi City Police issued a notice to search for the child.
According to information provided by the family, on the afternoon of February 15 (the 6th day of Tet), NTQT (born in 2010, residing in Van Phuc ward, Ha Dong district) took a bus from his hometown in Ha Nam to Giap Bat bus station (Hanoi) to return home. But after that, the family called but could not contact him.
T.'s mother added that because the bus often passed by her house in the countryside, her daughter took the bus to Hanoi by herself. The bus company also confirmed that T. got off at Giap Bat bus station, but did not know where she was going. The family called T.'s cell phone many times but no one answered.
On February 20, Hanoi City Police announced that they were looking for two girls in Thanh Oai and Thuong Tin districts who were suspected of being missing. Hours after posting, the families confirmed that the two girls had returned home.
The first case is Ms. Ban Thi Thuong (19 years old, residing in Nghiem Xuyen commune, Thuong Tin district, Hanoi) who has not contacted her family for nearly 10 days.
Late that night, the family found Ms. Thuong at an acquaintance's house.
Also on February 20, the Hanoi City Police Facebook page received a report from the family of Ms. Vu Thi Tam (born 2003, residing in Hong Duong commune, Thanh Oai district, Hanoi) that Ms. Tam left home on the afternoon of February 19 and has not returned yet.
When she went, Ms. Tam wore a yellow shirt, dark blue jeans, and rode a red mini bike.
