Body of missing fisherman found at Bien Lac Lake

After 3 days of actively deploying forces to search on a large scale, at 2:00 a.m. this morning (June 18), local people and authorities found the body of Mr. NPH (born in 1985, residing in Hamlet 5, Gia An Commune, Tanh Linh District). Mr. H went missing on Bien Lac Lake while fishing on June 15.

The authorities have completed the autopsy and handed over the body to the family for funeral arrangements. Earlier, at around 6 p.m. on June 15, Mr. H and two friends from Hamlet 6 went fishing on two boats in the area of ​​​​Hung Bong Sung, Bien Lac Lake, Gia An Commune. Mr. H went on one boat and his two friends went on the other boat and moved in two different directions.

At about 8 p.m. that same day, heavy rain continued for a long time with thunderstorms. After the rain stopped, the fishing group returned and could not find Mr. H, so they searched around. At about 3 a.m. on June 16, they discovered Mr. H's boat. No one could see Mr. H. On the boat was a burned and torn baseball cap, and the headlamp was also damaged. The group continued to search by boat but could not find him, so they reported the incident to the authorities. Upon receiving the news, the Gia An commune authorities and relatives organized a force to search.
