Luis Diaz wants to leave Liverpool
Luis Diaz continues to express his desire to leave Anfield this summer through his agent. The Colombian international is disappointed that Liverpool have not offered him a contract extension and hopes to move to Bayern Munich.
Bayern's previous offer of 67.5 million euros ($73.4 million) was rejected. However, the Bundesliga champions are expected to raise their offer to 70 million euros ($76.1 million) - a figure that is considered convincing enough for the "Red Brigade".
Diaz has just two years left on his Liverpool contract. The 28-year-old is earning less than 100,000 euros ($108,600) a week.
Arsenal medical for Gyokeres in Singapore
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed with the words "Here we go" about the deal of Arsenal to recruit striker Viktor Gyokeres. The Emirates team will pay 63.5 million euros (69 million USD) transfer fee, plus 10 million euros (10.9 million USD) in additional fees depending on performance.
Notably, Gyokeres' agent has agreed to reduce the commission to speed up the process. The Swedish striker is expected to fly to Singapore in the next few days to undergo a medical and sign a five-year contract, before joining Arsenal on their Asian tour.
Tottenham target Palhinha
According to The Sun, Tottenham are closely monitoring Joao Palhinha - a midfielder of Bayern Munich. Spurs are ready to send a bid worth 25 million euros (27.2 million USD) to Allianz Arena.
However, before recruiting Palhinha, the North London team needs to clear a name in the midfield, most likely Yves Bissouma - who is no longer sure of a place under new coach Thomas Frank.
Palhinha, who joined Bayern Munich last summer for €56 million ($61 million), had two excellent seasons at Fulham, and his Premier League experience would help the 30-year-old adapt quickly if he returned to England.
Wissa immediately returned to England, preparing to dock at Newcastle?
Yoane Wissa has left Brentford's summer training camp to return to England amid rumours he is set to join Newcastle United, according to Sky Sports.
Brentford had previously rejected a £25 million ($32.1 million) offer from Nottingham Forest over concerns about losing both of their key attackers (Bryan Mbeumo has moved to Man United). However, with Wissa's contract only having one year left with an option to extend, Brentford could be open to negotiations for £30 million ($38.6 million). Newcastle are said to be willing to pay that amount.
Wissa, 28, is also eager for the opportunity to play in the Champions League and has expressed his desire to leave to the board.
Inter Miami welcomes Messi's "bodyguard"
According to Marca, Inter Miami has reached an agreement to sign Rodrigo De Paul from Atletico Madrid for a fee of around 15 million euros ($16.3 million). The Argentine international will soon fly to the US for a medical before signing a four-year contract.
In Miami, De Paul will reunite with Lionel Messi – his close teammate in the Argentina national team. Meanwhile, Saul – another midfielder who used to play for Atletico – has just completed a free transfer to Flamengo.
Milan reach agreement to buy Estupinan
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan have convinced Brighton to sell left-back Pervis Estupinan for €17 million ($18.5 million) plus €2 million ($2.2 million) in performance-related fees. The Ecuadorian defender is expected to arrive in Italy soon for a medical and to sign a five-year contract.
Estupinan has been a mainstay for Brighton in the last three seasons, making 104 appearances and scoring five goals. Brighton's decision to sell their key defender for a relatively low price has surprised many fans.
Man United remove many key players from US tour
Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia were all left out of Manchester United's pre-season tour of the United States. These players are no longer in coach Ruben Amorim's plans and are for sale.
Harry Maguire is also absent from the trip, but due to personal reasons. The England international will soon rejoin the team.
