Culinary quintessence of regions gathers at Hung Temple Festival

The Northwest Tourism Fair and the 2023 Land of Ancestral Culture and Cuisine Festival have the participation of more than 100 units, artisans, chefs, culinary product production facilities, OCOP products of Phu Tho province and 8 extended Northwest provinces.

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, after the opening on April 25, more than 70 unique culinary stalls with specialties of 3 regions, cuisine of the Ancestral Land, and OCOP products of the provinces were displayed, serving visitors to visit and enjoy.

The weather in Phu Tho province on the morning of April 26 was cool, with many people and tourists coming to make a pilgrimage to the Hung Temple historical site and participate in this event.

The chef directly prepared the dishes at the fair, attracting the attention of visitors.

Many OCOP products are displayed at the fair.

Tourist and culinary product stalls of many Northwestern provinces are selling many unique and beautiful products.

In addition, there are also booths displaying and selling souvenirs related to the Hung Kings, Hung Temple Historical Relic Site, Phu Tho Ancestral Land...

Mr. Nguyen Dang Minh (a tourist from Dan Phuong district - Hanoi) shared: "This is the first time I have come to Hung Temple, the atmosphere here feels very comfortable, from morning until now I have experienced many delicious and unique dishes of Phu Tho as well as many other provinces".

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Le Anh Xuan - Director of Anh Xuan Food and Trading Company Limited (brand name of Dat To Sour Meat) said: "The fair is both a place for us to promote Phu Tho province's sour meat products to tourists, and an opportunity for us to help customers distinguish the goods and flavors of genuine sour meat products that have been imitated a lot in the market."

The Northwest Tourism Fair and the 2023 Ancestral Land Culinary Culture Festival have contributed to promoting and introducing the images, culinary culture products, tourism, services, and tourist destinations of Phu Tho and 8 extended Northwest provinces to a large number of people and tourists from all over the world. At the same time, it has contributed to strengthening cooperation between regions and clusters between neighboring provinces to build increasingly developed tourism service chains and tours.
