According to data from the General Statistics Office in 2023, Binh Phuoc has an area of 6,873.6 km2, currently the largest province in the South.
Binh Phuoc borders Dak Nong province to the north, Binh Duong province to the south, Lam Dong and Dong Nai provinces to the east, Tay Ninh province to the west, and Cambodia to the northwest.
Currently, Binh Phuoc has 11 districts, towns and cities, including 3 border districts (Bu Gia Map, Bu Dop, Loc Ninh) bordering 3 provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia (Mondulkiri, Kratie, Tboung Khmum), the total border length is 258.939km with 28 main landmarks and 353 secondary landmarks.
Currently, Binh Phuoc province is managing 4 border gates (Hoa Lu International Border Gate, Hoang Dieu Main Border Gate, Loc Thinh, Tan Tien Secondary Border Gate) and 1 opening. As a transit area between the Southern Central Highlands and the Southeast, Binh Phuoc has a very diverse terrain, including plateaus, mountains and plains.
