Organizing field trips to serve the composition of the Contest 'One Hundred Years of the Best Tea'

During 2 days (June 26 and 27), the Organizing Committee of the Writing Contest "The 100 Years of the Best Tea" in Thai Nguyen organized a field trip for over 50 reporters, journalists, writers, and researchers to spread information and create creative materials for writing contest entries.

The delegation enjoyed tea at Tien Yen Tea and Community Tourism Cooperative, Tan Cuong Commune (Thai Nguyen City).

The writers directly visited and experienced famous tea regions such as: La Bang (Dai Tu), Trai Cai (Dong Hy) and Tan Cuong ( Thai Nguyen City)... - places associated with the brand "First famous tea". The delegation witnessed the process of caring for, harvesting and processing tea; interacted with people and tea artisans; enjoyed specialty products and listened to an introduction to the history and culture of the tea region.

The delegation visited some cooperatives in the province to learn about planting, caring, processing and enjoying tea.

The trip is considered a journey to collect real-life materials, contributing to inspiring the authors. Vivid experiences in the raw material area, life stories associated with tea trees are valuable materials to form works with depth, imbued with Thai Nguyen identity.

The delegation visited Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space.

The writing contest “One Hundred Years of the Most Famous Tea” was launched in February 2025, aiming to honor the historical, cultural and economic values of Thai Nguyen tea trees. Entries are political articles, memoirs, reports, and essays (excluding poetry), which can be accompanied by illustrative photos or clips. The Organizing Committee of the Contest encourages multimedia works that are creative, inspirational, and socially influential. Up to this point, the Organizing Committee has received about 50 works from authors from many regions across the country. The summary and award ceremony is expected to be held in the fourth quarter of 2025.
