Organized visits, wished longevity, and gave gifts to 1,340 elderly people turning 90 years old

Wishing longevity to the elderly is a good cultural tradition of the nation, preserved through many generations (T. Thao)

Accordingly, the province will organize a delegation to visit 20 people who are 90 years old in Thanh Phu, Ba Tri, Binh Dai districts and Ben Tre city, and visit 5 elderly people in each district and city, during June 2025.

According to the plan, the province will visit, congratulate and give gifts to 1,340 elderly people who will turn 90 years old in 2025 on the occasion of Vietnam Elderly Day, June 6, 2025. People who turn 90 years old will receive a longevity certificate and gifts from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, each gift includes a snow-fur blanket, worth about 500,000 VND and 500,000 VND in cash.

Organizing visits, wishing longevity and giving gifts to the elderly aims to encourage and motivate the elderly to live long, happily and healthily, while at the same time promoting the Party's policies and the State's laws on the elderly and the responsibility of society and family towards the contributions of the elderly.
