In December 2024, Phu Tho province will continue to be honored to host 4 matches of the Vietnam National Football Team at the 2024 Southeast Asian Football Championship. For the matches to take place successfully, Phu Tho province has carefully prepared all stages and tasks, from facilities, logistics, reception to communications, healthcare , ensuring security and order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, etc.
Under the close and drastic direction of the provincial leaders, departments, branches and localities have actively participated in, comprehensively, synchronously and uniformly implementing assigned tasks with the highest sense of responsibility. Phu Tho province has mobilized over 1,000 police officers and soldiers to well implement the task of ensuring security for the competition such as escort vehicles, security and order in the inner and outer circles; fire prevention and fighting... before, during and after the matches. The security and order situation in the province has always been absolutely safe, with no sudden or unexpected situations occurring during the matches.
