'The Fatherland in our hearts': Echoes of pride in the national festival

In the proud and excited atmosphere with the people of the whole country towards the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 19450), on the evening of September 2, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized an art program and fireworks display with the theme "The Fatherland in our hearts". Attending were Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Mai Dang Thao Nguyen; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; localities and a large number of people.

Delegates enjoy the art program

The art program was held at Tay Ninh Provincial Cultural and Art Center, fireworks display at Long An Stadium, Long An ward.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thanh Thanh affirmed that after 80 years of construction and development, our nation is even more proud of its heroic and indomitable tradition, the spirit of solidarity and gratitude towards generations of fathers and brothers who fell for national independence. During that journey, the brave and resilient homeland of Tay Ninh has contributed human and material resources to the cause of national liberation, construction and protection of the country.

Through this program, the Organizing Committee hopes that the audience will relive the glorious memories of their ancestors and the heroic history of the nation. With unique singing, dancing and traditional music performances, the program is an opportunity for today's generation to show gratitude and cherish historical values, while also adding motivation to build Tay Ninh to develop more and more, contributing to the prosperity of the country.

The art program is divided into two parts: Chapter I with the theme "Still steadfast in one belief" praises the Party and Uncle Ho through special performances such as Uncle Ho's words shine forever, The Party of my soul!, Continuing the story of peace, the concert One lap of Vietnam,...

Chapter II with the theme "Tay Ninh - new era" brings the audience back to the traditional homeland through the performances Visiting Tay Ninh, my hometown, the dance "Rice paper in the countryside",...

The performances were elaborately staged, expressing the heroic spirit of the nation.

With a melody of pride and love for the Fatherland, the program depicted the source of history, where generation after generation wrote the heroic history of the nation in general and of Tay Ninh in particular.

People still stayed to enjoy the show despite the rain.

The "Young Bamboo Shoots" also show their love for the Fatherland on the national festival day.

Songs that have gone through the years and lived forever are portrayed in the art program as a deep gratitude from today's generation to our fallen ancestors. Music contributes to brightening the national flag, arousing pride and aspiration to build an increasingly prosperous and strong country.

Ms. Tran Thi Ngoi, Tam Vu commune, Tay Ninh province shared: “I feel very happy to participate in the art program and fireworks display on National Day, September 2. This is an opportunity to recall the heroic memories of the nation, the hardships and sacrifices of our ancestors in the journey to independence. I believe that the young generation will be the pioneering force, bringing the homeland into an era of development, contributing to the common prosperity of the country”.

Truong Thi Huong Lan, Tan Long commune, Tay Ninh province, emotionally expressed: "September 2 has great significance for young people like me, because it is an occasion to commemorate the heroic martyrs, to show gratitude to our ancestors who sacrificed their lives, and it is also a motivation for me to try to study, practice, and contribute to my homeland and country."

The moment the fireworks light up is also the moment when joy spreads, making each citizen more proud of the country and confident in the future. In the joyful reunion, National Day 02/9 has become a festival for all people - a day for the past and present to blend together, adding strength to the new journey of the Fatherland./.
