Experts say that Vietnam has great potential in the production of high-tech medical equipment. More and more businesses are boldly investing, aspiring to bring “made in Vietnam” products to the world.
Along with technology, ESG (Environmental - Social - Governance) standards are becoming a key strategy in all manufacturing sectors, especially medical devices - where each product is directly linked to human health and safety.
However, the journey to implement ESG in Vietnam still has many challenges. Regarding the environment, it is the problem of green energy and waste management. Regarding society, it is the responsibility to employees and the community. Regarding governance, it is the requirement of transparency, integrity, and digital transformation in business operations.

The online seminar “ESG in medical device manufacturing: The journey towards sustainable development” will take place on the morning of November 20.
In order to connect management agencies, associations and pioneering enterprises to discuss and propose solutions towards comprehensive ESG implementation in medical equipment manufacturing, contributing to the sustainable development of the Vietnamese healthcare industry, Dan Tri newspaper organized an online talk show "ESG in medical equipment manufacturing: Journey towards sustainable development".
The program was honored to welcome 3 guests, including:
- Doctor Luong Chan Lap, Deputy Head of Financial Planning Department, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health;
- Mr. Truong Hung, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Medical Equipment Association;
- Mr. Le Nhat Khoa Nguyen, Deputy Director of Wembley Medical Factory Joint Stock Company - a business operating in Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park.
The seminar promises to be a quality forum for all parties to find ways to overcome challenges, contributing to realizing the aspiration of bringing Vietnamese medical equipment to the world .
