According to the report of Thang Binh District Party Committee, in 2024, the Party Committee, government, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and socio -political organizations from the district to the grassroots level made efforts to overcome difficulties, focused on leadership and direction to implement tasks and solutions according to the 2024 resolution, achieving important results.

Economic restructuring in the right direction, total production value of economic sectors reached 12,366 billion VND (2010 comparative price), economic growth rate reached 10.94%. Infrastructure construction projects continued to receive focused investment. Thang Binh directed to remove difficulties and obstacles in compensation, site clearance, and resettlement support to implement key projects.

The implementation of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction has achieved positive results (reducing 161 poor households, reaching 393% of the resolution target). The poverty rate of the whole district is currently 1.98%, down 0.29% compared to 2023.

The district has effectively implemented the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for policy households, poor and near-poor households. It has focused on leading the implementation of the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period to ensure progress. During the year, 124 party members were admitted, reaching 103% of the resolution target (120 party members).

Thang Binh District Party Committee approved economic targets for 2025 including: economic growth rate of over 10%; economic structure of industry, construction - trade, services - agriculture, forestry and fishery corresponding to the rate: 48.8% - 35.6% - 15.6%; economic revenue reaching about 500 billion VND; actual revenue per capita of 62 million VND; building 4 advanced new rural communes, 1 model new rural commune.

Regarding cultural and social indicators, the rate of trained workers reached over 79% (the rate of trained workers with degrees and certificates reached 38%); jobs were created for more than 2,800 people; 6 schools were built to meet national standards at level 2; the rate of population participating in health insurance reached 96.4%...
