I love coffee!

Coffee and childhood memories

About 30 years ago, every morning at 5 o'clock, my father would call out: "Wake up, son, let's go have coffee!"

That was the first time I tasted coffee. Back then, my father and the neighbors would wake up early, gather around fragrant cups of coffee, and start the day with heartwarming stories.

Then some went to the fields, others went to the market to trade… And so, I grew up with the gentle bitterness and rich aroma of the coffee from my hometown.

Coffee in everyday life

To this day, coffee remains a constant companion for me. It helps me stay alert and more creative in my studies and work. I can drink 3-4 cups a day without getting tired of it, because coffee gives me a refreshing feeling and positive energy.

Every morning I would stop by the coffee shop (formerly the Soc Trang Provincial Youth Union building), where I would often sit with the older men and women, or with the workers at the An Nghiep Industrial Zone…

People enjoyed coffee while chatting about current events, old jobs, their children and grandchildren, the labor market, and employment... Simple stories, but full of warmth. To me, that coffee table was like a small family, a place where I could share, be listened to, and learn.

Coffee - a beloved name

With my intense love for coffee – a rich, captivating beverage – there are days when I might skip breakfast, but I can't go without a cup of coffee to start my day.

That feeling of "addiction" has become a part of my life.

Because of that special affection, I nicknamed my firstborn daughter Coffee. I believe that, just like coffee, which is not only loved by Vietnamese people but also enjoyed all over the world , my daughter will also be loved by many.
