Honoring Vietnamese culture through the contest "Vietnam in me" in Hungary

The contest not only evokes feelings for the homeland and country of Vietnam but also makes an important contribution to preserving and promoting the national cultural identity in the Vietnamese community in Hungary.

On May 4, the closing ceremony of the composition contest “Vietnam in me” took place solemnly at the World Mall, Budapest (Hungary) with the participation of Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Bui Le Thai, representatives of the Vietnamese Association in Hungary, the Budapest Vietnamese Language Center, and many Vietnamese teachers, parents and students.

This is an activity within the framework of activities celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Hungary.

The contest, sponsored by the Vietnamese Embassy in Hungary, aims to create a useful playground for the young generation of Vietnamese people living in Hungary to learn more about their homeland and country, Vietnam, thereby expressing their love for their homeland and country, national pride and attachment to the Vietnamese language and culture.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Bui Le Thai affirmed that the contest not only evokes feelings for the homeland and country but also makes an important contribution to preserving and promoting the national cultural identity in the Vietnamese community in Hungary.

The Ambassador expressed his sincere thanks to the Vietnamese Association in Hungary for its efforts to connect the community, along with the Budapest Vietnamese Language Center and its team of teachers who have continuously inspired the love of Vietnamese language and culture to the younger generation.

The Ambassador especially thanked the parents who always supported and encouraged their children to participate in the contest and sent compliments to the students who showed their patriotism, national pride and creativity through their emotional works.

Ambassador Bui Le Thai emphasized that each of the children's articles contains special memories, emotions and stories about the country, family and community.

The contest “Vietnam in me” is one of the meaningful activities of the Vietnamese community in Hungary, contributing to preserving the Vietnamese language, connecting generations and affirming the cultural identity of the Vietnamese community in Hungary.

Ambassador Bui Le Thai hopes that the contest will continue to be maintained, spreading creative inspiration and the spirit of returning to the roots to the young generation of Vietnamese people in Hungary in the coming years./.
