Bloomberg quoted sources as saying that Mr. Zelensky will also meet with US President Joe Biden in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (taking place from September 24 to 30).
Earlier, on September 18, when asked about a potential meeting with the Ukrainian leader, Republican candidate Donald Trump replied: “Maybe.” In addition, Mr. Trump did not release further details.
Mr. Zelensky is expected to speak at the United Nations General Assembly on September 25.
On the evening of September 18, the Ukrainian President said that the country's victory plan was fully prepared. "All the arguments, the appendices have been determined. Everything is finalized. The most important thing now is the determination to implement it," Mr. Zelensky said.
“There is and can be no alternative to peace , no freezing of conflicts, or any other manipulation,” he declared.
The Ukrainian leader said he intends to share his peace plan with US President Joe Biden and both US presidential candidates – Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
