171 examination sites have a total of 4,242 examination rooms. Of these, 168 examination sites with 4,180 examination rooms are for candidates following the 2018 general education program, and 3 examination sites with 62 examination rooms are for candidates following the 2006 general education program. Each examination site is arranged with 3 spare rooms to handle arising situations.

171 high school graduation exam sites in 2025 are high schools with facilities that ensure safety standards and convenience for candidates.
The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place from June 25 to 28. In Ho Chi Minh City, the exam will be large-scale with 99,578 candidates registered, an increase of 8,891 candidates compared to last year.
Of which, 97,940 candidates took the exam under the 2018 general education program and 1,638 candidates under the 2006 general education program. Notably, the number of independent candidates increased by 5,000 compared to the previous year.
Install surveillance cameras at 100% of exam sites
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that all 171 high school graduation exam sites will have surveillance cameras installed in the exam storage rooms. The installation will be carried out simultaneously on June 19.
The camera monitoring the exam storage room will ensure coverage of all items containing exam papers and test papers in the room and actions affecting those items; store all data of the exam storage process and test papers at the testing site; operate continuously even when there is a power outage.
