Handover of duties and responsibilities of Permanent Deputy Director, Head of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission

On the afternoon of August 8, General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Director of the Inspection Commission of the Central Military Commission chaired the Conference on the handover of responsibilities and tasks of the Standing Deputy Director, Head of the Inspection Commission of the Central Military Commission.

Implementing the resolution of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee, Lieutenant General Pham Ngoc Tuan assumed the position of Permanent Deputy Director and Head of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission.

Recently, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission has advised the Central Military Commission to thoroughly grasp, concretize, promulgate and strictly implement resolutions, regulations and guidelines on inspection, supervision and enforcement of party discipline.

Proactively inspect party organizations and party members when there are signs of violations; promptly resolve complaints and denunciations; consider and strictly handle party members and party organizations that violate the law, contributing to maintaining discipline and improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations in the Army.

Speaking at the conference, Senior General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized that the current situation places increasingly higher and newer demands on the work of inspection, supervision, and enforcement of Party discipline. Therefore, inspection is both to guide and disseminate good things, but also to promptly detect and prevent signs of violations; and to guide Party Committees to better implement Party regulations.

General Trinh Van Quyet requested that the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission should continue to promote the achieved results; strengthen the grasp of the situation of agencies and units in the entire army; continue to implement digital transformation in agencies and in the Party inspection sector of the Army; promptly advise the Central Military Commission's Standing Committee to direct the proper resolution of cases; study and propose the construction of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission and the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
