Ho Chi Minh City established 17 working groups to direct ward and commune party congresses.

The Steering Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress on the Party Congresses of wards, communes, special zones and directly superior grassroots levels for the 2025-2030 term (hereinafter referred to as the Congress Steering Committee) has just announced the assignment of tasks to its members.

Accordingly, the steering committee assigned members to attend and directly direct the congresses at the party committees of wards, communes, special zones and directly above the grassroots level.

At the same time, 17 working groups of the congress steering committee were established, with some members of the congress steering committee as group leaders. The members of the working groups are cadres in the support group, cadres monitoring and in charge of the Party Committees of wards, communes, special zones and direct superiors of the grassroots level of the City Party Committee Inspection Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Organization Board.

The Working Groups are responsible for developing programs and work plans for the group to implement the plan of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, ensuring the requirements on content and organization of congresses at the assigned Party Committees.

The working group guides and inspects the preparation for the congress; works directly with assigned Party organizations; and assigns specific tasks to members.

The Working Groups closely coordinate with the Standing Committee members of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee assigned to be in charge of localities and units in the process of monitoring, guiding and inspecting the preparation of content and personnel.

At the same time, invite members of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee in charge to attend to give their opinions when reviewing and approving the content of the draft documents of the Party Congress.
