On the afternoon of October 7, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong chaired a meeting to pilot the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Government Management Platform, phase 1.
Reporting at the meeting, Ms. Vo Thi Trung Trinh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center, said that the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Government Management Platform is a mobile application for city officials and civil servants.

According to Ms. Trinh, after the merger, the number of officials and civil servants in Ho Chi Minh City increased to nearly 50,000 people, each unit has many separate software systems and different login accounts, causing difficulties in management and information access.
Therefore, the construction of a centralized Digital Government Management Platform aims to support officials and civil servants to have unified access to processes, documents, and working tools quickly and conveniently.
At the same time, it provides an official, complete and accurate information transmission channel from leaders to officials and civil servants and vice versa; a place to communicate and share knowledge and internal documents. The application helps standardize processes, reduce paperwork, and create a more professional, transparent and dynamic working environment for officials and civil servants.
Service subjects include leaders and officials from the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to departments, branches, wards, communes and special zones.
Phase 1 with version 1.0 has been completed and started testing from October 6, 2025, with main functions such as reminders, task tracking from superiors, immediate task assignment, city-wide staff directory, internal communication, quick notification... allowing leaders to directly assign, monitor, approve tasks, and automatically create groups to handle cases.
Phase 2 will be deployed from the first quarter of 2026, expanding on web and mobile platforms (iOS, Android), with many more advanced and detailed functions added such as digital control panel, digital signature integration, shared online meeting room, virtual assistant, electronic opinion gathering, etc.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong acknowledged that building the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Government Management Platform is an important task, demonstrating the determination of the Ho Chi Minh City government in implementing digital transformation and building a digital government.
This platform will help managers access and effectively carry out tasks in the coming period. This is also a task to concretize Resolution 57 of the Politburo .
He requested the leaders of departments, branches, People's Committees of wards, communes, and special zones to synchronously and uniformly deploy this platform according to common requirements in the spirit of updating and perfecting while working. During the implementation process, it is necessary to review the working regulations of each agency to synchronize them appropriately with the platform. At the same time, promulgate regulations on using the platform, integrating it on phones, tablets, etc.
The Office of the City People's Committee and the Digital Transformation Center will soon update and complete the platform, advise and report to the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to decide on the official operation time.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Manh Cuong proposed building a hotline to receive and answer information from agencies and units during the initial period of operation to continue to supplement and improve content, functions and utilities.
