Ministry of Defense dispatches rescue aircraft to isolated flood areas in Lang Son

On the morning of October 8, the Air Defense - Air Force Command (PK-KQ) directed Division 371 to use helicopters of Regiment 916 to provide relief and assistance to the people of Van Nham, Yen Binh and Tuan Son communes in Lang Son province who were isolated due to floods caused by storm No. 11. Major General Vu Hong Son, Commander of PK-KQ, directly monitored and directed the relief flights.

At exactly 9:50 a.m., a Mi-171 helicopter and at 10:15 a.m., a Mi-17 helicopter took off, transporting relief goods to help the people of Van Nham and Yen Binh communes in Lang Son province. Then, at 11:51 a.m., the remaining Mi-17 took off, transporting relief goods to the people of Tuan Son commune, Lang Son province.
