Over the years, Mong Cai City Party Committee has always attached importance to political and ideological education for cadres and party members, contributing to creating unity within the Party and consensus in society.
The City Party Committee currently has 4,658 Party members, 36 grassroots Party cells and committees, and 263 Party cells directly under the grassroots Party Committees. The City directs agencies and units to organize the study and dissemination of the Party's resolutions and directives to each cadre and Party member. The City Party Committee assigns members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to direct, monitor, urge and be responsible for the results of the organization of study, dissemination and implementation of resolutions in the localities and units assigned to them; comrades who are Party Committee secretaries enhance their responsibility for the work of studying, dissemination, propaganda and implementation of Party resolutions.
Before each session of studying and implementing the resolution, based on the local situation, the Propaganda Department of the City Party Committee drafts a propaganda outline based on the principle of closely following the goals, guiding viewpoints, tasks and solutions of the central and provincial levels, and at the same time applies them to develop goals and solutions suitable to the actual situation of the locality and the grassroots; clearly indicating what the Party Committees at all levels need to do to soon put the resolution into practice. During the process of implementing the resolution by units, the Propaganda Department of the City Party Committee assigns cadres to monitor and organize experience sharing for the following implementation sessions.
Since the beginning of the term, the City Party Committee has developed and issued 36 plans to disseminate, disseminate and implement resolutions of Party congresses at all levels, thematic resolutions, directives, conclusions, etc.; organized conferences to study, disseminate and disseminate timely to key cadres of the city and grassroots. After the conferences, the branches and grassroots Party Committees continue to organize study and dissemination to 100% of cadres and Party members in agencies and units, associated with developing action programs for implementation, writing reports, and promptly concretizing them with tasks suitable to the practical situation of the locality.
Political, ideological and ethical education has many innovations. Party committees, authorities and socio-political organizations have developed programs and plans, organized learning and seriously disseminated the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, and put them into activities at Party cells, becoming regular activities. Since the beginning of the term, the city has organized 12/1,872 political and ideological activities. Notable: Political activities on Party building and rectification and the political system with the theme "Self-reflection, self-correction"; political activities on the content of the work "Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; extensive political and ideological activities on the content of the work "Resolutely and persistently fight against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong...
The work of educating revolutionary traditions, propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws has been strengthened, contributing to raising awareness and action in the Party and the people. The city directed the compilation of the Minutes of the 24th Mong Cai City Party Congress, term 2020-2025; compiled and published the book "History of Mong Cai City Party Committee in the period 2006-2020"; "Education materials on traditions and history of Mong Cai City (for primary, secondary and high schools)"; "Propaganda and education materials on the history of Mong Cai City Party Committee (for the City Political Center)". At the same time, the city directed cadres and party members to respond to and actively participate in competitions to learn about the Party organized by the central government, the province and the city; organized training courses on Party history for young union members.
The work of inspecting and supervising the leadership, direction and organization of studying, grasping and implementing the resolution has been seriously carried out by Party committees at all levels. After the inspection and supervision, the City Party Committee requested that grassroots Party organizations that have not seriously drawn lessons, overcome limitations, improve and supplement missing contents in the leadership and direction work. From there, gradually overcome the situation of deference, avoidance, fear of collision, promote the spirit of resolute struggle to protect the right, refute and eliminate the wrong, the deviant manifestations, plots and tricks of " peaceful evolution" of hostile, reactionary and opportunistic forces, contributing to protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the new situation.
