The Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department has just issued Notice 11191 to publicly disclose information on 31,655 businesses and individuals paying taxes in the area that still owe taxes and other revenues to the State budget, as of September this year.
The total amount recorded is more than VND 25,356 billion. The information disclosure is based on the provisions of the Tax Administration Law 2019 and Decree 126/2020, applicable to cases of tax debt over 90 days.
According to Notice 11191, there are 3 enterprises with tax debts of thousands of billions of VND. Topping the list is Xuyen Viet Oil Trading, Transport and Tourism Company Limited with a debt of more than 1,828 billion VND. Golden Hill Investment Joint Stock Company owes more than 1,568 billion VND. Song Tien Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company owes 1,164 billion VND.
There are 15 companies owing hundreds of billions of dong in taxes, mainly in the real estate sector. For example, Housing Development and Trading Joint Stock Company (HDTC) owes 840 billion dong; Ha An Real Estate Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company owes 248 billion dong...

The list of tax arrears also includes many familiar names in the market, such as Ho Chi Minh City Green Parks Company Limited (a State-owned unit) which is also recorded as owing 343 billion VND.
In the education sector, Saigon G Education Company owes 85.7 billion VND. In the consumer goods group, Tan Tan Joint Stock Company (Tan Tan peanuts) owes 64.1 billion VND; Rang Dong Holding Joint Stock Company owes 60.9 billion VND, Asanzo Group Joint Stock Company owes 56.2 billion VND...
The number of businesses operating in Ho Chi Minh City, according to the latest update from the National Information Portal, is more than 345,500 businesses.
