On August 25, the Management Board of the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village informed about September activities at the "Village" with the theme "Happy Independence Day", thereby contributing to promoting, preserving and developing the unique traditional cultural values of ethnic groups, enhancing exchanges between ethnic groups, diversifying and enriching activities to attract tourists.

September activities at "The Village" include a highland market celebrating Independence Day, introducing the market space of ethnic minorities in the Northwest region with typical dishes and products, a market space with panpipe dancing, love songs, sli, luon, coi... or an area introducing the history, process, and materials for blacksmithing and weaving...
Also during this time, the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism will bring to the people and visitors the unique intangible cultural heritages of many ethnic communities. These include the wedding ceremony of the Nung people with many unique procedures and rituals; the fire-keeping ghost procession ritual of the Mong people praying for the gods to bless the family with prosperity, harmony between husband and wife and good luck; the lion and cat dance art of the Nung people, often taking place during spring festivals, mid-autumn festivals, etc.
Along with introducing the unique traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities, at the Common House there is also a folk song and dance program "Happy Independence Day", praising the homeland, the country, and the national cultural identity; a puppetry performance program, a space to experience making bamboo dragonflies, star lanterns, and figurines... and many other "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children" activities through traditional games such as "o an quan", "bat chi" (playing "tre" and "cham" (playing "tre" and "cham"), "jumping in a sack", "blindfolded drumming"..., creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, enhancing interactive activities with students to welcome the new school year.
