On the evening of April 29, the first night of the historical film Da Nang with 3D Mapping technology premiered on the facade of Da Nang Museum (a 125-year-old building that used to be the City Hall and headquarters of the People's Committees at all levels) attracted thousands of people and tourists to watch the outdoor 3D Mapping technology.
The event aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). With the theme "The Story of Da Nang", the film screening recreated the formation and development process of the city through the ages.
Screened on the facade of the Da Nang Museum building – a 125-year-old French architectural work, the film takes viewers back in time through the stages from the Champa period, the French colonial period to the liberation period and modern development of Da Nang.
Pedestrians from all directions flocked to Bach Dang Street to watch the show.

With lighting effects, 3D motion and synchronized sound, the heritage is no longer a static block but has become a part of the modern experience, bringing the audience many interesting surprises with colorful but deep historical footage.

The old men and women with white hair recalled old memories, emotionally witnessing the heroic years of history vividly described; the children were eager to explore ... "When I knew Da Nang would show the 3D Mapping film outdoors, I was very excited. After watching it, I felt much more love for Da Nang and my country," student Le Thi Hoai My (from Quang Nam ) shared.
Student Nguyen Phuong Kieu Duyen (from Quang Ngai) was also very happy to see a film screening using 3D Mapping technology outdoors for the first time: "I am very impressed with many moments of Da Nang's formation. I hope this program will attract more tourists to the city."
Consisting of 3 consecutive parts: The Origin of Da Nang, The Epic of Struggle, Rising Up, the 3D Mapping film screening at Da Nang Museum ended with great emotion. The vivid images recreating the city's development process gave viewers a deep sense of historical value and national pride.
The event is not only an impressive visual experience but also a reminder to preserve and promote heritage for future generations.
