Many overseas Vietnamese said that in recent days they have been following the rehearsals and preparations for the parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, which was broadcast on domestic television channels.
In particular, on the night of April 29, many overseas Vietnamese in Germany stayed up all night to watch the grand celebration and the grand parade of the Vietnamese armed forces and people. This deeply demonstrated the patriotism, national pride and solidarity of the Vietnamese community far from the Fatherland.
The 50th anniversary of national reunification is a source of great pride, a vivid testament to the just struggle to regain national independence, and at the same time sends a strong message to international friends about a resilient, united Vietnam rich in historical traditions.
The solemn and magnificent parade clearly demonstrated the strength, modernity and indomitable fighting spirit of the Vietnamese armed forces and people. It was a vivid image of the spirit of “for the country, for the people,” ready to protect the independence, sovereignty, peace and long-term stability of the Fatherland.
