Awarding of competitions on science, technology and innovation in Dong Nai

On October 10, in the Techfest Dong Nai 2025 event series, the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province organized an award ceremony and competition on science, technology, startups, and innovation.

Attending the program were comrades: Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son; Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai Province Pham Van Trinh, and leaders of departments, branches, associations, and unions of associations in the province.

Accordingly, for the Dong Nai Science and Technology Communication Product Award 2025, the Organizing Committee has decided to award 64 winning works, including 4 First prizes, 8 Second prizes, 12 Third prizes and 40 Encouragement prizes. In particular, the authors and groups of authors who won First prizes in 4 categories will receive certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in addition to bonuses and trophies from the Organizing Committee.

Specifically, in the print newspaper, electronic newspaper and professional newspaper categories, this year's award attracted a large number of reporters and editors from local and central press agencies. As a result, the author group Khanh Minh - Binh Nguyen (Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television) won the first prize with a series of 3 articles on Dong Nai Agriculture in the journey of digital transformation.

In the non-professional print and electronic newspaper category, author Tran Thi Thu Hien (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) won first prize with a 3-part series of articles Digitizing festivals - the foundation for preserving Dong Nai's culture and history.

On the radio panel, the group of authors Dao Dung - Le Thuy - Tuyet Kha - Quang Son (Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television) won first prize with the 2-part work Dong Nai's breakthrough in high-tech agricultural investment and digital transformation.

For the television category, the group of authors Tran Thi Kim Thuy - Tran Gia Vinh - Trinh Hoang Vu - Ho Hoang Hai - Nguyen Hoang Huan - Nguyen Huu Manh (Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television) won first prize with the work High-tech imprint - raising the level of Dong Nai healthcare.

For the Dong Nai Province Innovation and Startup Competition 2025, the Reference Book Project "250 situations to help students practice situation-solving exercises in Civic Education at junior high school level" by author Nguyen Thi Hong Tuyen won first prize.

The projects selected for the Second Prize include: "Edubot - Programming education robot for high school students" by the group of authors Du Thi Thanh Xuan, Tong Van Quynh, Nguyen Dang Khoa and "Diversifying the production of edible mushroom spawn and cultivation towards circular agriculture" by the group of authors Nguyen Thi My, Dang Thi Huong, Dang Thi Dieu Hien, Hoang Thai Minh, Hoang Le Viet.

Third prize winning projects include: "Wireless water pump on/off float using solar battery" by Nguyen Hong Son; "Community tourism in Ta Lai village" by Ka Tuyen and "Rubber sheet drying system (UDS)" by Doan Quyet Tien.
