Awarding the Fifth "Learning Never Ends" Scholarship

On July 18, in Nghe An province, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education held the Fifth “Learning Never Ends” Scholarship Award Ceremony for students with excellent academic achievements, and exemplary adults in self-study and research, with many effective initiatives applied to production and business.

Comrades Nguyen Sinh Hung, former Politburo member, former National Assembly Chairman; Nguyen Thi Doan, former Party Central Committee member, former Vice President, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education awarded the "Learning Never Ends" scholarships to delegates.

The scholarships are awarded to students with excellent academic achievements; adults with outstanding achievements in self-study and research, and many effective initiatives applied to production and business from 8 provinces and cities in the North Central and Central Coast regions and 9 central ministries, branches, and organizations.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Doan, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President , President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education, spoke at the ceremony.

This year, 233 delegates were selected to receive scholarships, including 153 students; 80 seniors were selected from 8 provinces and cities in the North Central and Central Coast regions.

Along with that are cadres, civil servants, public employees, and students at military academies and schools, with the spirit of self-study, self-research, and creativity achieving good results; representatives of 10 agencies coordinating with the Central Association in the work of promoting learning and talent, contributing to building the agency to achieve the title of "Learning Unit".

The scholarship awarding activity "Learning Never Ends" has been organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education since 2020, and is maintained annually at both the Central Committee level and the Association for Promoting Education levels in provinces and cities across the country.

The feature is that both adults in different fields and students of all ages are eligible for scholarships.

The “Learning Never Ends” scholarship aims to encourage, motivate and commend exemplary students who have the spirit of overcoming difficulties, striving to excel in their studies, and the elderly who, through self-study and research, apply knowledge and experience to production, helping their families escape poverty, contributing to local socio-economic development, building a new cultural life, and creating an increasingly widespread learning emulation movement among all classes of people.

The unique feature of the “Learning Never Ends” scholarship is that both adults in different fields and students of all ages can receive the scholarship.

In the coming time, the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education will maintain and expand the "Learning Never Ends" scholarship in both scope and target, determined to effectively implement the emulation movement "The whole country competes to build a learning society, promote lifelong learning, period 2023-2030" launched by the Prime Minister.
