Attending the Decision handover ceremony were Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Quy Kien; Leaders of key units of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and officers, civil servants and employees of the Publishing House of Natural Resources - Environment and Vietnam Maps.
At the announcement ceremony, authorized by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Comrade Nguyen Kim Tuyen, Acting Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, announced the decision of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment to appoint the position of Chairman and General Director of the Vietnam Natural Resources - Environment and Cartography Publishing House Limited Company.
Accordingly, in Decision No. 988/QD-BTNMT, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment appointed Mr. Le Minh Hai, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Natural Resources - Environment and Cartography Publishing House Company Limited to hold the position of Chairman and General Director of Vietnam Natural Resources - Environment and Cartography Publishing House Company Limited. The Decision takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation.
At the Ceremony, presenting the Decision and congratulating the new Chairman and General Director of the Vietnam Natural Resources - Environment and Cartography Publishing House Company Limited, Le Minh Hai, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh highly appreciated the contributions of the Vietnam Natural Resources - Environment and Cartography Publishing House Company Limited and personally comrade Le Minh Hai, the new Chairman and General Director, on the assigned tasks in the field of editing, publishing, printing and distributing all types of maps, atlases, data and specialized books on Natural Resources - Environment domestically and internationally.
Minister Dang Quoc Khanh highly appreciated that in the nearly 30 years of establishment and development (from January 28, 1995 to present), the Publishing House has always been the oldest and most trusted enterprise in Vietnam in the publishing industry. The Publishing House has made continuous efforts to fulfill its role and responsibility as the leading publisher in Vietnam in editing, publishing, printing and distributing maps as well as in the work of propagating, protecting and affirming Vietnam's territorial sovereignty .
Sharing with the new Chairman and General Director as well as all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Vietnam Natural Resources - Environment and Map Publishing House Company Limited, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh said that currently, with the huge amount of work assigned to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in developing policies, including areas with "a lot of information" that people need to pay attention to such as land, environment, water resources, minerals, sea and islands, as well as areas with "little information" to propagate to help people understand more such as maps, remote sensing...
Therefore, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh suggested that in its functional duties, the Vietnam Natural Resources - Environment and Cartography Publishing House Limited Company needs to innovate, create, and apply science and technology in operations, management, and production to provide a variety of information technology application products, providing continuously updated map sources for both propaganda and use as production materials for multiple industries and fields.
Minister Dang Quoc Khanh requested the new Chairman and General Director as well as all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to always unite, promote their experiences and professional knowledge, and coordinate well with units in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to make the Vietnam Natural Resources - Environment and Cartography Publishing House LLC become the leading enterprise in Vietnam in editing and publishing maps from traditional to modern, from detailed to general, covering all areas of daily life and in managing and protecting national sovereignty.
The publishing house also needs to continue to propose to improve the policy mechanism, care for the life and facilities of officials, civil servants, employees and workers; strengthen research and exchange with domestic publishers and international friends in the current new situation...
Receiving the direction and assignment of tasks from Minister Dang Quoc Khanh, comrade Le Minh Hai, the new Chairman and General Director of Vietnam Natural Resources - Environment and Cartography Publishing House Company Limited, respectfully thanked the Party Committee, Minister Dang Quoc Khanh, the leaders of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Board of Directors of Vietnam Natural Resources - Environment and Cartography Publishing House Company Limited for their support and trust in him.
