Ms. Luu Thi Ky (born in 1949) has difficult circumstances in Nghia Lo residential area, Nhi Chieu ward, Hai Phong city. Ms. Ky is old, often sick, and lives with her mentally disabled daughter. All activities in the family depend on a small tea shop and 1.5 sao of rice fields.

For many years, Ms. Ky's family lived in a cramped, seriously degraded house but had no means to repair or rebuild it.

With the support of many organizations and individuals, after more than 1 month of construction, the "Red Cross" house was completed. The new house is 35m2 wide and the ancillary works with a total cost of 100 million VND and a gift of more than 13 million VND were handed over to Ms. Ky for use. Of which, the Hai Phong City Red Cross Society supported 50 million VND, Nhi Chieu Ward 13.4 million VND, the ward's "For the Poor" fund 10 million VND, and the hometown people supported 40 million VND.

During the construction process, many people supported labor days and construction supervision to ensure progress and quality of the project.
