Readers give money to help 2 poor patients in Hue

Representatives of SGGP Newspaper in the Central region coordinated with the Social Work - Customer Care Department, Hue Central Hospital to visit and give 5.8 million VND in support from readers for the second time (the first time was 20 million VND) to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa (born in 1939, residing at 16/4/16 Doan Huu Trung, Hue City), who is being treated for heart disease at the hospital's Cardiovascular Center.

Mr. Hoa is the character in the article “Elderly couple seriously ill, living a precarious life” published in SGGP Newspaper on May 23. Mrs. Huynh Thi Phuoc, Mr. Hoa’s wife, was moved to thank readers and SGGP Newspaper for the timely help.

On the same day, SGGP reporters coordinated with the People's Committee of Phu Loc Commune, Hue City to visit and give 10.7 million VND in support from readers for the second time (the first time readers supported 29 million VND) to Cai Thi Tim and her son (Loc Tri Commune, now Phu Loc Commune), the character in the article "The whole family suffered from serious illness after the mother had a kidney transplant for her son" published in SGGP Newspaper on June 16.
