Donations from readers help two impoverished patients in Hue.

Representatives of SGGP Newspaper in the Central region, in coordination with the Social Work - Customer Care Department of Hue Central Hospital, visited and presented 5.8 million VND (the second donation from readers, following the first donation of 20 million VND) to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa (born in 1939, residing at 16/4/16 Doan Huu Trung Street, Hue City), who is receiving treatment for heart disease at the hospital's Cardiovascular Center.

Mr. Hoa was the subject of the article "Elderly couple seriously ill, barely surviving" published in SGGP newspaper on May 23rd. Mrs. Huynh Thi Phuoc, Mr. Hoa's wife, was deeply moved and expressed her gratitude for the timely assistance from readers and SGGP newspaper.

On the same day, reporters from SGGP Newspaper, in coordination with the People's Committee of Phu Loc Commune, Hue City, visited and presented 10.7 million VND (the second donation from readers, out of the first donation of 29 million VND) to Mrs. Cai Thi Tim and her children (Loc Tri Commune, now Phu Loc Commune), the subjects of the article "The whole family suffers from serious illnesses after mother donates kidney to son" published in SGGP Newspaper on June 16th.
