Over 10 billion VND invested in scientific missions

In the 2019-2024 period, 30 provincial-level science and technology tasks were deployed in ethnic minority districts in the Target Program for Socio -Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas, with a total investment of over 10 billion VND.

Through the implementation of tasks, a number of models have been successfully built to support the socio-economic development of ethnic minority areas such as: Intensive afforestation of tissue-cultured hybrid acacia in Thanh Son and Doan Hung districts, Dang Sam production model, Angelica dahurica production model in Thanh Son district; multi-spur chicken model, Golden Camellia model in Tan Son district; Yen Lap native breeding sow model; organic cinnamon growing model in Thach Kiet commune, Tan Son district...

Cinnamon trees in Trung Son commune, Yen Lap district have been built with a collective brand, certifying a unique and advantageous product.

At the same time, 13 collective brands and certification brands have been built for typical products with advantages of ethnic minority districts such as: Tan Son corn wine, Thanh Son goat; Hung Long lychee, Moc Van Du, Doan Hung district; Skinny bamboo shoots, Trung Son cinnamon, Yen Lap district...

Thereby, creating conditions for people, especially ethnic minority people, to access new technical advances in agricultural production, improve product quality, increase income, and contribute to sustainable poverty reduction.
