Over 22,000 visitors came to visit the Southern Traditional Cake Festival and Trade Promotion Fair

According to the Organizing Committee, after 3 days of taking place, the Southern Traditional Cake Festival combined with the Trade Promotion Fair, OCOP products and regional specialties of Vinh Long province in 2025 attracted over 22,000 visitors and shoppers.

The event brought a space for people to enjoy cuisine , entertainment, and at the same time promote the cultural values, specialties, and tourism of Vinh Long province.

On April 16, the number of visitors increased by 3,000 compared to the opening day. In addition to daily trading activities, there are also programs introducing, promoting, and processing cakes and traditional dishes from artisans from participating localities.

Specifically, from April 17-19, from 4-7 p.m. at the Common House area of ​​the festival, there will be a promotion program of about 1,500 portions (500 portions/day) of various types of cakes: wet rice cake with shrimp skin, pancake wheel, Vinh Long pomelo sweet soup... Visitors will be guided on how to prepare and enjoy them for free.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, during the event, security and order were stable, waste was actively collected and processed promptly, booths were generally beautifully decorated to attract visitors, vendors complied with food safety and hygiene regulations and posted prices publicly.

Taking place from April 15-21, the Festival attracted the participation of over 450 booths from more than 10 provinces and cities across the country, introducing traditional cakes, typical cuisine, OCOP products, general trade, tourism promotion...
