The 14th National Congress of the Party is a major political event, arousing the faith, intelligence and development aspirations of the entire Vietnamese people in the new era. The entire political system is looking forward to the congress with a spirit of enthusiastic competition and the highest determination to successfully implement the goals of the 13th Congress Resolution, creating a premise for faster and more sustainable development in the 2025-2030 period.
In the article “Organizing well the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term”, General Secretary To Lam affirmed: “Bringing the congress resolution into life is not only a political action but also a vivid expression of the people's hearts - a great endogenous strength in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland”.
From that spirit, ethnic and religious work is identified as the Party's soft front - a place to strengthen trust, orient public opinion and arouse the strength of national solidarity, contributing directly to bringing the resolution into life.

The history of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people has proven that great solidarity is the decisive factor in all victories. From the August Revolution to the two long resistance wars, from the unification of the country to the period of renovation and international integration, every step forward of the revolution began with the gathering of the people's hearts.
President Ho Chi Minh once taught: “Unity, unity, great unity. Success, success, great success”. That is not just a slogan, but a historical truth - the strength that has helped our nation overcome all challenges, protect and develop the country.
Today, that spirit is clearly demonstrated through the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Hundreds of thousands of households are supported with housing, water, and livelihoods; millions of highland students are able to go to school; thousands of infrastructure works, bridges, roads, hospitals, and schools are completed, changing the face of new rural areas in the most remote areas.
That is not only an achievement in socio-economic development, but also a vivid demonstration of the strength of the great national unity bloc, where 54 ethnic groups share the same will and move forward together.
In every period, the people's trust is the measure of the Party's strength. That trust is built from the listening, respect, care and action for the people of the Party committees and authorities at all levels, especially in ethnic minority areas and areas with many religious followers.
According to Plan No. 02 dated March 21, 2025 of the Government Party Committee, the Party Congress propaganda work must focus on "creating high unity in ideology, awareness and action within the entire Party, people and army; consolidating trust and enhancing social consensus". In the Northwest, Central Highlands and Southwest regions - which have suffered many fluctuations, today, the material and spiritual life of the people is increasingly improving.
In Vietnam, religion does not stand apart from the nation, but accompanies and serves the Fatherland. The Party and State always respect and ensure the people's freedom of belief and religion, considering it one of the basic rights, contributing to strengthening the moral, cultural and social foundations.
During the 2020-2025 period, tens of thousands of charity projects were carried out by Buddhist, Catholic, Protestant, Cao Dai, and Hoa Hao organizations, from building charity houses, opening charity classes, providing medical care to protecting the environment and responding to climate change.
In the propaganda campaign towards the 14th Congress, spreading examples of "good life, good religion" has special significance, helping the public clearly see the positive role of religion in national development, while at the same time fighting against arguments that exploit religion to divide the great national unity bloc.
The 14th Party Congress not only set out development goals, but also sent a great call: "For a strong, prosperous, and happy Vietnam."
Implementing Official Dispatch No. 116 dated October 6, 2025 of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, all levels and sectors are vigorously implementing propaganda work on all media: newspapers, television, social networks, billboard systems, LED screens, visual propaganda; at the same time, strengthening oral propaganda, organizing conferences, seminars, and thematic activities.
The goal is to spread the spirit of the congress to every cadre, party member, Buddhist, parishioner, and believer, so that the resolution does not stop at blank paper, but goes into concrete actions.
Over the 95 years since the founding of the Party, the Vietnamese people have never had such a strong position, prestige and aspiration for development as today. The 14th Congress will mark a new turning point, where the great national unity bloc continues to be the pillar and solid foundation of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
General Secretary To Lam said: “There is no greater power than the power of the people. Unity is the source of victory and a sure guarantee for the country's future.”
Looking towards the 14th Party Congress, every cadre, party member, and every compatriot of all ethnicities and religions should turn faith into action and aspirations into reality.
Because more than ever, national unity is not just a slogan, but a vital force, a guiding light for Vietnam to enter a new era: an era of growth, creativity and happiness.
