Promoting the strength of solidarity, building a developed and civilized Don Ba Residential Area

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Kim Dung talked with people of Don Ba village.

Don Ba residential area currently has 140 households with 669 people of two ethnic groups living together. Over the years, the people have always been united, complied with the Party's policies and the State's laws, actively participated in emulation movements, and contributed to building a strong community. All public affairs are discussed democratically and openly, creating high consensus among the people.

In 2025, under the leadership of the Party Cell and the close coordination of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Working Committee, the residential area effectively implemented 5 contents of the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" and was recognized as a "Cultural Residential Area" in 2025.

In economic development, people actively transformed the structure of crops and livestock, applied technical advances, achieving a yield of 353 tons of rice (yield 58.6 quintals/ha) and 49 tons of corn (yield 46.2 quintals/ha). Poverty reduction work had positive changes with 10 households escaping poverty, bringing the poverty rate down to 45.3%.

In the cultural and social fields, 95% of households have achieved the title of “Cultural Family”. The implementation of civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals is effectively maintained; over 90% of households have hygienic bathrooms and use clean water; security and order are maintained stably.

Speaking at the Festival, Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, expressed her joy at being able to celebrate the National Great Unity Festival with the people of Don Ba village. She affirmed that solidarity is always a precious tradition, the strength that creates all victories of our nation, and the Festival is not only an occasion to review traditions but also a practical action to unite the community and strengthen the people's trust in the Party.

He commended the efforts and outstanding results of the cadres, party members and people of Don Ba village in recent times. The whole village has promoted the spirit of self-reliance and self-strengthening; solidarity in labor and production; preserving a civilized lifestyle; taking good care of the young generation; and maintaining security and order.

Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung emphasized that although Don Ba has achieved many remarkable results, the poverty rate is still high and people's lives still face many difficulties. Therefore, more than ever, each household and each person needs to promote the spirit of self-reliance, proactively develop the economy, enrich themselves legitimately and contribute to building an increasingly prosperous village. At the same time, have absolute faith in the leadership of the Party, not allowing bad forces to take advantage and incite.

He suggested that people continue to preserve and promote the good traditional cultural values of their nation; build a happy cultural life in each family, with filial children, harmonious couples, and united clans; spread the love of neighbors, help each other in work, production and daily life.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that the village continue to promote the strength of great solidarity, accelerate the transformation of crop and livestock structure, apply technical advances to increase income; preserve the bright - green - clean - beautiful landscape and environment; and care for the young generation.

Representatives of Don Ba residential area gave gifts to delegates.

He also requested the Party Committee and authorities of Lam Binh commune to continue to pay attention and support Don Ba village to develop comprehensively, promptly grasp and resolve the people's legitimate aspirations, create consensus and strengthen trust in the community.
