Over 360,000 students in Quang Ninh province happily enter the new school year

According to the report of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ninh province, this school year, the whole province has over 360,000 students at all levels, studying at 629 schools and educational institutions. This number increased compared to the previous school year by 8,300 students.

In order to continuously improve the quality of teaching and learning, meeting the learning needs of the people; over the past years, this province has focused large resources on renovating, repairing, and upgrading facilities serving teaching and learning. It has built 8 high-quality schools; repaired and renovated many schools and classrooms (district and provincial levels); purchased many equipments according to the 2018 General Education Program... Up to now, the rate of solid classrooms has reached 92.1%; over 90% of schools and facilities have met national standards.

Quang Ninh currently has more than 22,700 managers, teachers and staff in the education system. Of which, the rate of qualified staff and teachers at each level is 83% or higher; this figure for high school level is 100%, of which 20.3% are above standard.
